A: The bridge is designed for pedestrians, bikes can also be considered. But not for any auto-vehicles.
Q: What is the maximum and minimum water elevation of Heshui River?
A: The up-most height in history of Heshui River is 115.21meters (on June 7th,1982). The lowest height in history of Heshui River is 107.40 meters(on October 23rd, 2019).
Q: Does Heshui River have navigation need ?
A: At the moment, there is no navigation requirements.
Q: Is there any restrictions on the construction scale of“Linjiang Building”?
A: The planned building should be 2-3 floors but there is no height or scale requirements.
Q：Is there any restrictions on the construction scale of“Wenxing Bridge”? Do you have reqirements on the type of the bridge？
A：There is no scale or typle requirements about the bridge, you can design by your own.
Q：Can we make any adjustment about the location of “Linjiang Building”in the CAD file？
A：The planned location for Linjiang building in the CAD file is just for reference, you could always make your own design by choosing a different location as long as it is within the design scope.
Q：Can we make any adjustment about the location of “Wenxing Bridge”in the CAD file？Or can we move “Wenxing Bridge” into the current location of “Hunan - Jiangxi Wharf ” ?

A：Yes, you can. The competition is open to young designers, artists, teams of teachers and students worldwide in the fields of planning, architecture, landscape, art and intelligent design. Meanwhile, interdisciplinary professionals and practitioners are also encouraged to participate.

Located on the western border of Jiangxi, Yongxin County is a famous general county in the country and the center of the Hunan and Jiangxi Provincial Committee of the Jinggangshan Revolutionary Base. Yongxin embodies its unique gene of “rich humanity, red history and beautiful ecology”. However, the development of the old city, like many other counties in China, is facing numerous issues such as slow economic development, lack of industrial vitality, gradual brain drain, urgent needs to improve the infrastructure and city’s appearance. Therefore, how to protect, inherit and take full advantage of Yongxin’s rich and unique cultural resources and historical genes are both challenging and promising for the development of Yongxin in the new era.
In this context, taking the features and culture of Yongxin Old City as the carrier, guided by design, culture and art, Yongxin Old City has carried out practical operation to solve difficulties as well as future-oriented renovation and transformation through events, communities and industries. Attaching a spatial value to Yongxin Old city via culture revival, environmental improvement, affluent life and model setting. The city will finally realize its renewal plan through the endeavor such as creating an old city regeneration model, reviving the old city’s culture, reconstructing the ancient city ecological circle, consolidating the ancient city industrial foundation.
